Cash & Cans for the Holidays

Help us help others! Many Johnson County need help this holiday season. The Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Mission will help 40 families in the Northeast Johnson County area with a Thanksgiving basket. Your donation of money or non-perishable food items will greatly help those less fortunate.  Please help us help those in need.  Look for containers at City Hall, the Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center and businesses through the City of Mission.   More information...

Clothing Drive to Benefit the "Uplift" Organization

This fall, the Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau will conduct a clothing drive to benefit Uplift, Inc. On Thursday, November 17, 2011, please bring your new or gently used (and freshly laundered) items you wish to donate to the U-Haul truck parked in the north lot of the Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center.
