accepting additional teams only on a waiting list at this time.

4th "Battle of the Brisket" State Championship
September 17th and 18th, 2010

The City of Mission is again this year hosting the Battle of the Brisket State Championship. It will be again be held in conjunction with our annual
Arts & Eats Festival.

We expect to accommodate about 75 teams. To enter the contest your team must submit a completed registration form. (download a copy of the registration form)

The Battle of the Brisket will be held in the parking lot surrounding the Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center, 6200 Martway. Booth space is 25’ x 18’ and each team must be able to fit all of its equipment, cooking devices, tents, etc. into this space.

Restroom facilities will be provided by way of portable toilets and through limited access to facilities in the Community Center. Contest participants with proper contest identification will also be permitted to use shower facilities in the Community Center locker rooms between 6:00 and 9:00 am on Saturday.
