Holiday Lights and Festive sights

Holiday Lights 2006

“Holiday Lights and Festive Sights” will launch the holiday season on December 5th from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. along Johnson Drive between Woodson and Beverly Streets.

The family-friendly event will include:

  • A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus (Santa and his Cyber Sleigh)
  • Dino O'Dell & the Veloci-Rappers with a musical performance of original children’s music and holiday carols
  • The Mayor’s holiday tree and street lighting
  • Holiday activities for the kids - face painting, coloring books, holiday ornaments and cupcakes to decorate
  • Free s’mores and hot chocolate for kids of all ages
  • Food vendors
  • A special display of musical fireworks will add to the holiday evening.
