Mission Guinness World Record Attempt

Largest Painting Made with Footprints

Join the Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau on Friday, September 18th at Trinity Lutheran Church (5601 West 62nd Street in Mission) as we set a new Guinness Book world record.

The City of Mission is partnering with the Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau Arts and Eats Festival and Trinity Lutheran to raise money for charity and break a world record! We will be attempting a record for the Largest Painting Made with Footprints in order to raise money for Samaritan's Feed, an organization that donates shoes to persons all over the world.

Participants will be asked to donate $1.00 for each foot they would like to use in painting. Each participant will get to dip his/her feed into latex paint and walk over a canvas in Trinity Lutheran's parking lot in order to help complete the painting. The event will begin early in the morning with a target completion time of 4:00 pm. A representative from Guinness World Records will be in attendance to judge the event.
