Arts and Crafts Booth Applications Now Available for the 5th Annual Mission Arts & Eats Festival, September 18 & 19, 2009
Mission, KAN (May 13, 2009): Artists and crafters are invited to display and sell their works and wares at the ‘5th Annual Mission Arts & Eats Festival,’ scheduled for Friday night, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, in Mission, Kansas, according to Suzie Gibbs, Chairman, Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau. The outdoor festival also includes a Kansas state championship Bar-B-Que contest, live music, and celebrates the visual, culinary, and performing arts. Applications and information is available on-line at www.MissionCVB.org.
The rental fee for a tented 10’ x 10’ booth is $150, including two tables, two chairs and electrical access (20 amps). Artists and crafters must have their booths staffed at all times. Applications including payment must be postmarked by September 10, 2009. The Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau (formerly the Mission Business Development Committee) was established in August 2003, by the City of Mission, Kansas to assist in the revitalization and redevelopment of the Mission business district. Responsibilities of the committee include development and administration of investment and revitalization programs for this area.
