Holiday Lights and Festive Sights Holiday Event Scheduled for Friday Evening,
December 3, 2010 in Mission
Mission, KAN (October 14, 2010): “Holiday Lights and Festive Sights” will bring in the holiday season to the delight of all in Mission, according to Suzie Gibbs, Chair of the Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau, the group that organizes the event. Scheduled for Friday evening, December 3th, 2010 and set on Johnson Drive, between Woodson and Dearborn, Holiday Lights and Festive Sights is a the family-friendly event beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a variety of entertainment including a tree lighting ceremony (6:00 pm), caroling with Santa & Mrs. Claus (6:30 pm), crafts for the young at heart, free Christmas movies (Charlie Brown’s Christmas and The Christmas Story at the Mission Theater), free S ‘mores, street vendors, and face painting.

The Mission Convention and Visitors Bureau was established in August 2003 by the City of Mission, Kansas to assist in the revitalization and redevelopment of the Mission business district.
